MMIWG2S+ Online Toolkit for Wellness and Healing

Introduction
Tansi, Aniin, Boozhoo! Welcome to the MMIWG2S+ Online Toolkit for Wellness and Healing. This toolkit has been developed for family members of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people (“MMIWG2S+”) and survivors of gender-based violence.

How to Use the Toolkit
This toolkit can be accessed from any desktop computer or laptop. It can also be accessed using a tablet or smartphone.

When to Use the Toolkit
This toolkit is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may access it at any time.

Navigation Pages
The online toolkit has three sections, Wellness Tools, Planning and Event, and MMIWG2S+ Manitoba Resource Listing.

  1. The Wellness Tools section contains helpful tools related to your wellbeing. These tools can be worked through in order, or you can choose any one to begin on.
  2. The Planning an Event section contains helpful resources to guide you when planning events related to your loved one, such as Planning a Celebration of Life. Use these tools as needed.
  3. The MMIWG2S+ Manitoba Resource Listing page contains a list of resources for MMIWG2S+ families and survivors of gender-based violence in Manitoba. You can return to this page whenever you are unsure of where to access supports and resources.
