It’s hard to feel okay in an environment that feels unclean. If your surroundings are not clean, set a timer for five minutes and address the biggest issues, like put away leftover food, deal with pet messes, or put dirty clothes in the laundry.
Chores can be tiring and overwhelming, but we are not doing chores. We’re just doing a quick five-minute clean up to make ourselves feel happier!
